European Youth Week 2017 “Shape it, move it, be it.”

On Tuesday, May 2, 2017 the President of JEUNE, Mr Patrik Kovacs following the invitation from Hungarian Commissioner Mr Tibor Navracsics, attended the European Youth Week 2017 for speaking on “Moving and shaking Europe: Young voices on the future of youth action in Europe” in Brussels.

Mr Kovacs has successfully opened the discussion with his speech on EU’s upcoming youth strategy at Youth Week. He highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the sustainability of EU and summarized the meeting with Commissioner Navracsics.

“ABOUT EUROPEAN YOUTH WEEK 2017
Come and celebrate the 2017 European Youth Week! From 1 to 7 May hundreds of events will be taking place across Europe to inform young people about various EU mobility opportunities and highlight their rich contribution to Europe’s challenges such as solidarity, inclusion, democracy and active citizenship.

Under the slogan “Shape it, move it, be it”, the 33 countries participating in the Erasmus+ Programme will host from conferences to workshops and outdoor activities, spreading across three key messages:

  • Find out and get involved in the new European Solidarity Corps
  • Learn more about Erasmus+ and take part of it
  • Get involved in youth policy making”
