President Patrik Kovacs met President of GEN Global, Mr. Jonathan Ortmans during the GEN Europe Meeting in Berlin in October 9 and 10.
Both Presidents had the opportunity to discuss and share opinions on how GEN Europe could move to the next level and improve and create opportunities for young European entrepreneurs.
The Global Entrepreneurship Network operates a platform of projects and programs in 170 countries aimed at making it easier for anyone, anywhere to start and scale a business.
By fostering deeper cross border collaboration and initiatives between entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers and entrepreneurial support organizations, GEN works to fuel healthier start and scale ecosystems that create more jobs, educate individuals, accelerate innovation and strengthen economic growth.

President Patrik Kovacs shared aspects of JEUNE’s activities and current projects and addressed topics regarding future cooperation opportunities that are important for young entrepreneurs in Europe. In this manner, Dr. Kovacs addressed the importance of connecting European entrepreneurs with their peers from different continents such as Asia, Africa and America. Dr. Kovacs thanked GEN Global about the support they provide to young entrepreneurs projects and initiatives.
This Meeting gathered many experienced professionals from different European countries and institutions together so they discussed potential projects, cooperation platforms and next steps that would leverage the visibility of GEN Europe in the European Union.
