Traditionally, JEUNE organized the Young Entrepreneurs Day at the European Parliament in Brussels with the kind support of Confcommercio and MEP Laura Comi. The Event connected the young entrepreneurs, JEUNE Members and the politicians to a meeting that resulted into exchange of ideas and sharing knowledge and experiences among participants. The President Mr. Gelfi has opened the event by attributing the importance of the JEUNE representing in the EU institutions, hoping for greater cooperation in future and thanking Confcommercio for the support of organizing the event and reception.

MEP Laura Comi is the Vice-Chair of the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats), representing Forza Italia. She is the Member of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and of the Delegation for relations with the United States. MEP Comi is Member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, the Special committee on financial crimes, tax evasion and tax avoidance, the Delegation to the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee and of the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly. She is supporting entrepreneurship, young businessmen and international business development.

Attendants have used the opportunity to exchange ideas with the MEP and other politicians attending and discuss the economic, political and administrative challenges that they are facing round Europe in managing their ventures and businesses. being strongly oriented and supportive towards fostering concrete and non-restrictive policies for encouraging young entrepreneurs from all over Europe, JEUNE representatives have used this opportunity to enlarge the network and also knowledge on the processes that are on-going in the European Union and EU institutions.
