The high-level event “Female Entrepreneurs in the European Union” took place on March 20, 2019, organised by the European Development Platform and Romanian National Confederation of Women Entrepreneurship (CONAF) at the European Parliament.

The event gathered representatives of the European Commission, the national government, Members of the European Parliament and national parliaments, members of women entrepreneurs and women’s associations from Romania and Benelux, as well as senior representatives from the civil society, academic groups, as well as business and industry. Ms. Alexandrina Robu-Cepoi, the Chair of the Women Committee, represented JEUNE at the event. Ms. Robu-Cepoi highlighted the important role that young women entrepreneurs play in stimulating national and regional economies.

At the end of the event, both JEUNE Women Committee and CONAF expressed their will to sign a partnership agreement in order to develop common European projects.
